Information
The laboratory offers Psychology students the opportunity to carry out academic or postgraduate practical-theoretical internships.
The laboratory is aimed at the observation and analysis of adult-child interaction and interaction between children in contexts of play, psychological evaluation and rehabilitation treatment.
The laboratory also hosts one of the consultancy services that the Department offers to the territory, in particular the "Be as you are" Consultancy Service on Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity. For further information, see the dedicated page.
Equipment
The structure is equipped with child-friendly furniture and is equipped with 4 fixed digital cameras, microphones, and a one-way mirror. The observation room equipped with digital recording equipment and independent monitors for each camera.
Research lines
The research conducted at the laboratory is divided into three distinct themes:
communicative and relational styles in mother-child interaction;
cross-cultural parenting;
observation of parent-child interaction in the evaluation of children with learning disabilities.
