Description: The objective of the initiative is to carry out research programs in the field of autism spectrum disorder. Among the methods used are: mapping of regional good practices on the topic of school inclusion, PCTOs and work inclusion; experimentation of regional good practices chosen for dissemination with the involvement of second cycle schools, in programs for the definition and implementation of specialized PEI for pupils with ASD aimed at sustainability, including in terms of duration and continuity at the end of the school career; experimentation of innovative methods of school-territory networks for the purpose of implementing transition to work plans for young people with ASD; development of regional protocols for the integrated governance of training and work processes for people with ASD.

Initiative name: "Sapienza Cura chi Cura"

Description: Project activated during the pandemic. “Sapienza Cura chi Cura” (SC4C) is a free telephone service of Sapienza University of Rome, coordinated by the Faculty of Medicine and Psychology, open to anyone who works in the University Hospitals to provide psychological support in dealing with stress in the COVID-19 emergency, includingparticipation in project training events and periodic intervision meetings and conducting weekly supervision meetings with first level specialistsoperators.

Initiative name: Collaboration project in the fields of safety and social protection of the population of Rome Capital

Description: The objective is to guarantee full social citizenship and dignity of life to individuals and families, as well as equal opportunities and protection for the weakest individuals. Actions: monitoring of economic poverty and social marginalization in the city of Rome; preparation of tools for identifying potentially poor families and individuals not intercepted by social services; studies, research, data processing on the social services system and on the new needs of citizens; joint participation in national, European and international research programmes; organization of seminars, conferences, debates and dissemination and promotion actions of research activities.

Initiative name: Collaboration for activities to promote full and effective access to psychosocial support for the population seeking asylum and holders of international protection, especially unaccompanied minors and newly adults.

Description: The Department, in collaboration with the School of Specialization in Life Cycle Psychology, has activated a listening desk dedicated to unaccompanied minors and newly adult migrants, aimed at understanding the characteristics and needs of people in particularly fragile conditions and at evolutionary risk. These objectives are pursued through the carrying out of small group activities, individual interviews and the possible administration of standardized tests and/or questionnaires. The activities are carried out by teachers of the School (psychologists and psychotherapists) and by student psychologists of the School supervised and coordinated by the teachers of the School.

Name of the initiative: "PROXIMA" (aimed at the management of a multipurpose center for young people and adults with autism spectrum disorder and other disabilities with complex needs in the Lazio Region)

Description: The initiative aims to identify, monitor and evaluate individualized enabling objectives to promote the work and social inclusion of direct beneficiaries; provide and train CONNECTORS in the tools applicable to monitor outcomes and suggest ongoing adjustments; evaluate and enhance the achievement of objectives through an analysis of the center's action on direct beneficiaries. Actions: technical-scientific supervision of the monitoring and evaluation processes and their output relating to the individual outcomes of the beneficiaries, to be implemented on a six-month basis and over the entire 2 years of the project.

Description: The main objective is to explore from a theoretical and clinical point of view the characteristics of children and adolescents with autism and inclusive contexts as well as the protective and risk factors in the population with autism. Actions: bibliographic research on scientific literature; preparation and implementation of research projects, to be carried out in collaboration with schools, institutions, hospitals, private and public bodies; preparation and implementation of training projects, seminars, scientific events.

Initiative name: Experiential psychodrama group with unaccompanied foreign minors

Description: Planning and management of an experiential analytical psychodrama group for UASC (weekly meetings, pre- and post-group meetings, report writing, intervision meetings, contacts with the Civico zero association). The initiative is linked to the project for the creation of a Sapienza Help Desk for Unaccompanied Foreign Minors and New Adults (responsible: Prof. Eleonora Cannoni), as part of an agreement between Sapienza (DPPSS Department and Specialization School SSPCV) and Spazio Civico Zero, Save the Children and UNHCR.
