"Red Fox Laboratory"

Learning disabilities are often reduced to diagnostic labels that provide a series of rigid protocols for schools and families to follow, without reflecting on the real needs of children and young people who, instead, should acquire tools to fully develop their entire potential. For this reason, "The Red Fox Laboratory" was born; it is our consultancy center on learning and neurodevelopmental disorders, aimed at families with school-age children, which offers an assessment and intervention path based on needs of each person.

WHAT WE OFFER:
The Red Fox Laboratory offers different types of interventions:
- intervention-oriented assessment: an assessment process aimed at children who have specific learning difficulties or broader and more generalized difficulties. Our evaluation is characterized by a variety of practices consisting of interviews with parents, the administration of learning tests and neuropsychological tests with which to identify low-performingt cognitive functions, short interventions to enhance learning in  which we observe the ease with which skills and knowledge can be changed. Adult-child interaction is a central component of the assessment, with which it is possible to collect rich qualitative observations on the emotions with which the child is facing certain difficulties, as well as observations on the use of language, narrative and argumentative skills. The evaluation concludes with a written report which is shared with parents and which contains guidelines for both a specialist intervention and for a psycho-educational intervention in school settings
- consultancy courses with parents: cycles of consultancy meetings for parents who feel the need to be supported in dealing with difficulties encountered by their children during school and outside of school
- cognitive enhancement interventions
- consultancy to schools and individual teachers
- short counseling courses for teenagers
