The laboratory offers Psychology students the opportunity to carry out academic or postgraduate practical-theoretical internships.
The LPS Social Psychology Laboratory is a research laboratory in which the different research perspectives of the social sciences are applied, especially from the perspective of Social Psychology, Cognitive Psychology and Sociology applied to different contexts (marketing, media, work, organization and environment).
Equipment
Laboratory offers the possibility of observing and analyzing human behavior (for example in communication or group processes), thanks to the presence of two rooms (experimentation and control) equipped with advanced equipment: a one-way mirror, video cameras and digital recording. It is also possible, thanks to the Noldus The Observer software, to process, assemble and analyze observation data.
Inside the laboratory it is possible to conduct experiments thanks to the use of specialized hardware and software (Eye-tracker, Implicit Association Tests, SuperLab). Furthermore, an advanced audio and video recording system is available which allows the creation of interviews and focus groups. Finally, the laboratory's equipment includes qualitative and quantitative statistical analysis systems for data (SPSS, Statistica, Lisrel, SPAD, Atlas).
