UNiSL National Forum on Service-Learning - December 1st at Sapienza University

UNiSL NATIONAL FORUM - "The Perimeters of University Service-Learning: Research, Teaching, and the Third Mission"

On Monday, December 1, 2025, Sapienza University will host the UNiSL National Forum, promoted by UNiSL and the University.

The day will explore how Service-Learning (SL), an evidence-based approach that integrates community service and educational objectives, generates disciplinary learning, civic and transversal skills, and social impact, connecting research, teaching, and the Third Mission.
The program opens with an opening speech by Professor Michael Schratz, one of Europe's leading scholars of educational leadership and teacher education, Professor Emeritus at the University of Innsbruck, and an international consultant for innovation in school systems.

A roundtable discussion will follow, including universities, businesses, institutions, and local communities, featuring experiences of territorial co-design and reflections on the potential of university Service-Learning.

In the afternoon: poster session, interactive exhibition, and thematic corners on global challenges and SL operating models.
