Title: “Think of me as an adult”
Program: Notice for expressions of interest aimed at conducting research programs in the field of autism spectrum disorder, by the Istituto Superiore di Sanità, pursuant to art. 4, Interministerial Decree 30 December 2016, L. 134/2015. Launch of project activities to test innovative models of school inclusion and school-work transition for young adults with autism spectrum disorder.

ABSTRACT: With managerial determination of the Directorate for Social Inclusion of the Lazio Region n. G02186 of 27 February 2019, the Collaboration Agreement signed by the Istituto Superiore di Sanità and the Lazio Region for the implementation of the project "Autism spectrum disorders: activities from the ministerial decree of 30.12.2016" and the Attachment was approved for “Think of me as an adult”. The collaboration agreement provides for the implementation by the Lazio Region (leader of the Pensami Adulto project) and the partner Regions that have joined the executive project (Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Molise, Calabria) of the following activities: mapping of good regional practices on the topic of school inclusion, school-work alternation and work inclusion; experimentation of regional good practices chosen for dissemination with the involvement of second cycle schools, in programs for the definition and implementation of specialized PEI for pupils with ASD aimed at sustainability also in terms of duration and continuity at the end of the school career; experimentation of innovative methods of school-territory networks for the purpose of implementing transition to work plans for young people with ASD; development of regional protocols for the integrated governance of training and work processes for people with ASD.


Title: “Proxima”
Programme: Project proposals for the management of multi-purpose centers for young people and adults with autism spectrum disorder and other disabilities with complex needs in the Lazio Region referred to in managerial determination no. G11279 dated 21 September 2021.

ABSTRACT: The Lazio Region, with resolution no. G15179 of 7/12/2021, approved the rankings of the projects relating to the public notice for the presentation of project proposals for the management of multipurpose centers for young people and adults with autism spectrum disorder and other disabilities with complex needs in the Lazio Region. There were 4 Multipurpose Centers approved at regional level, diversified by territorial macro-areas of reference, including the PROXIMA Center promoted by the Giuseppe Garibaldi Integrated Social Agricultural Cooperative, as leader of the ATS to be established made up of 3 other Third Sector bodies, namely Replay Network aps, Cooperativa, OLTRE – Società Cooperativa Sociale and La Nuova Arca Società Agricola Impresa Sociale a r.l. The multipurpose centers are intended as innovative and experimental services of a social-welfare nature, which will function as open and widespread centers throughout the territory, with the general aim of promoting and implementing coordination between integrated policies, relating to the different levels of service aimed at the person with disabilities (scholastic, health, social, work), for the purposes of realizing individual projects (art. 14, law 328/00), with the active protagonism of the beneficiaries and their families. The Department undertakes to exercise technical-scientific supervision of the monitoring and evaluation processes of the project, aimed at identifying, monitoring and evaluating the individualized enabling objectives to promote the work and social inclusion of the direct beneficiaries of the project. The Department also undertakes to contribute to the choice of the measurement instruments used and to suggest any ongoing corrective actions, finally providing, on a six-monthly basis and over a total of 2 years, an evaluation of the 20 direct beneficiaries.
