Strategic Planning
The Departments, the primary bodies responsible for organizing and managing the
development of research, teaching activities, and Third Mission, are required to contribute
to the implementation of the University's strategic policies through their own Three-Year Strategic Plan,
consistent with the University's planning.
Strategic planning is a process that began in 2018 and is documented in the Three-Year Strategic Plan
2023-2025, available on the Department website and therefore fully accessible to
internal and external stakeholders.
The Three-Year Strategic Plan highlights both time priorities and indicators for
monitoring the achievement of objectives. The monitoring results form the basis
for any corrective actions and for continuously updating the planning.
The planning and implementation process is based on a participatory approach, involving the
governing bodies, departmental committees, and the academic community, in order to ensure
transparency, sharing, and consistency.
