Earth! But no homeland

Thursday 29 May at 6:00 p.m., in Room B9 of the Department of Communication and Social Research of the Faculty of Sociology in Salaria street 113, the presentation of the volume "Earth! But no homeland" will be held, a text that has as its central theme a true story set in Haiti, told by the author, Ti-Noune Moïse, daughter of the poet Rodolphe Moïse and Anna Chiabov.

The volume represents not only a biographical account of the author, but also a significant historical-political fresco in which individual events intersect with the stories of resistance and liberation in their respective countries, Italy and Haiti, during the twentieth century, and in which the writing ideally crosses and unites stories, people, continents, world and spiritual visions, overcoming radicalizations and hostility. Emancipation, resistance, liberation, courage and solidarity are the pillars of this highly original and well-documented cultural testimony.

The presentation will be accompanied by some video contributions that summarize the "journey" of the author and the narration.
