The presentation explores the concepts of stress and trauma through the lived experience of Gaza. Drawing on clinical, social, and cultural perspectives, it challenges individualistic models of trauma by highlighting the collective, ongoing nature of suffering under conditions of siege and war. The talk reflects on how trauma is shaped by context, history, and social relations, offering insights into more grounded and community-based approaches.
